You Own Your Code

You retain 100% intellectual property ownership over all original solutions you write and submit on CoderX.

No Sandbox Abuse

Cryptocurrency mining, botnets, port scanning, and malware creation inside WebContainers are strictly forbidden.

Community Respect

Treat fellow developers with respect in problem discussions and keep solutions educational and constructive.

04.Intellectual Property Rights

Your Code: You retain full copyright and intellectual property rights to the original code you write while solving challenges on CoderX.

Platform License: By submitting code to CoderX, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, execute, format, and display your code for the purpose of operating the platform (such as public profile showcases, leaderboards, and peer review).

CoderX Materials: The CoderX branding, logo, user interface, problem descriptions, and custom test harness remain the exclusive property of CoderX and its creators.

05.Disclaimer of Warranties ("AS-IS")

CoderX is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously accessible.
  • Unsaved browser-side drafts or terminal sessions will persist across browser tab refreshes.
  • Any coding advice or challenge solutions will meet your specific commercial production standards.

06.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall CoderX, its creators, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the platform.

07.Account Termination & Deletion

You may stop using CoderX at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated submissions via the self-service "Delete Account" button in your user menu.

CoderX reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Acceptable Use Policy, engage in malicious behavior, or disrupt platform services for other users.

08.Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service periodically. When changes occur, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. Continued use of CoderX following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
